This was my costume for the Fantastic
Creatures Parade for a "first day of Spring" ritual put on by
a friend of mine. The blue
paint is Liquetex acrylic, which dries like a mask so that it doesn't come off
until it gets wet. I made the leggings from buckskin,
which I pierced with a tiny awl and sewed by draping one around either leg with
single-ply sinew. My landlady made the stoneware
horns, and the feathers from a craft store. The tail is from the Cat
costume.
