This is, by far, the most impressive room of the house, measureing 28 feet long by 12 feet across. The den part of it had subfloor underneath, which I had to have ripped up and new oak flooring installed. I love real wood panelling (I was told it was probably pecan wood) so I didn't have to do much to this room besides the flooring (thank goodness--though, in a fit of vainglory, I decided for some reason that I needed to thoroughly paint the inside of each of the 5 closets in the house and line them all with cedar chipboard.The next project for this room will be installing ceiling fans for the side lights, leaving the chandelier in the middle.Also, there were no window coverings in the entire house, which I remedied...
